Adrina and her French Toast

I love french toast. I really do love French toast,and I can't really stop loving French toast. Have I mentioned that 'I love French toast'? I think one of many reasons that I love French toast so much is the fact that I love Adrina way waaaay too much. Adrina love her French toast. I'm being serious. In my life, I've never seen anybody who has a deep pure love for this yellow bread soaked in milk and egg so much. Wait, I can't really say that cause adrina don't just go mad when we talk about French toast but also pancake. Anything that would be called " Sugars in the form of breakfast" ,Adrina loves them all. Every time we spend the night with dri, everymorning we will get to have either pancake or French toast. On the weekend,we always wake up early just to drown ourselves with maple syrup and go back to sleep after breakfast. What a life. Adrina takes her breakfast really seriously. She loves having French toast and bacon to start off the day right. Whenever Candice and I are not in the mood of cooking breakfast ( which can be pretty rare), Adrina will be the one swinging the pan and the flipper around in the kitchen making the yummiest French toast for us. She would put a little sugar on the mixture of eggs and milk and sometimes fry the soaked bread in bacon fat. IT'S SO GOOD. Adrina loves her sugars. I think this might be one of reason why she is so sweet. Oh boy.... I can't explain how much I love this girl. This summer,she was away in America for the whole 2 months and that whole time I felt lack of something. I can't explain to you what I love about her 'cause when you love someone,I don't think you can't really make a list of why you feeling so. It's all the feeling that piles up high and is complicated to actually define a single one. By the way, in case you're reading this,dri. You have given me so much in my life and I hope one day I will be able to do so for you as well.... ........... One day.

Oh weeeeeell. Now,let's get our head wrap around food. Over the weekend,Candice and I went on a family trip in hua hin beach. On the second day of our trip,my family took us to this one baguette place,so that we could actually try out something new. There were so much baked goods to choose but the one that catched our eyes the most was the big roll of brioche. And I think my brother might have seen the water that was about to drop down at the corner of my mouth. He decided to buy me one. So here we are, making French toast. Too bad Adrina is not here with us,but that's okay. We will finish it all anyway. Like what Adrina always says 'Finish it like a cheesecake..'. We literally did.

Candice's Mango Jam Stuffed French Toast.

So, candice basically made a mango jam from scratch by boiling super ripe mango with maple syrup and then she stuff that in the thick brioache bread which she had cut through the middle part but not all the way,though. She left some room to stuff the jam in. In the mean time,I made the egg mixture. 2 eggs,a lug of milk,and a lot of cinnamon and cardamom. We soaked the stuff bread in the mixture and squeeze the bread a little,so that it could soak more of the mixture in. Then,we fried the bread and when it was done,candice just poured a lot of maple syrup on top,and cut-up mango and of cource some pumkin seeds and pitachio. For mine,I went for a healthier option by topping the French Toast with natural yogurt and lot of mangoes on top. It was delish.
