20 : 20 eyes closed

There's a curtain in front of the houses. You can't look through There's a yellow bright sun, too And there's a black cloudy moon also

Eyes opened Still 20:20 I prayed some more.

" Whenever the clock shows same number on both hour and minutes, make a wish" someone has told me this long time ago and it has grown root deeply and tightly in my head ever since. Once you know the trick, you'd see it more often, i guess. Cause i started to see it very often. Each day, I became more familiar with it. And there's a thousand wishes i made in years, and it usually all about the same thing. I made the same wishes that i remember it all too well by heart. As soon as i looked at the screen and see the time. My mouth would just automatically said those words out loud in my head. Over and over again.

But this time, we had a long conversation over dinner with Teoy and once i took a look at the screen and saw that the clock ticked to 20:20, i knew this time i had to wish for something else. I prayed about us. About our families. About our faiths. And about our hopes. Teoy really opened her heart to us that night and i valued that. It took time to open up to someone and for me, that's a friendship i appreciated.

No more words could be described to make Teoy know how much i appreciate her. Only a hug given to make her realize we were there together.

On the way to the airport that night, i thought about the conversation we had over and over again. I looked at her storied and recalled to mines. And while i was sitting on the blue cold bench, looking at katy reading books at the tiny book store inside the vast crowded airport, i wrote this poem. I knew right away it's the answer to my questions. I felt overwhelmed by the answer i've been looking for. It had always been right there, in the back of my head. But somehow the the writing just clarified it all clearer than i've ever thought of. But a poem is different on each ones' hands, on how words recall to past memories.

I wont talk about it any further. And i hope you understand what it means.

Cause SOMETIMES imagination is needed for deeply understanding - Candice.

Herby Croutons

I made this croutons for the first time when i worked at HARD ROCK CAFE, DC last year. One day Teoy before teoy came over, i happened to know how much she loves to eat this lovely dish, so i decided to make it. With a few herbs i have one hand, i was able to creat my own version of croutons. You are going to LOVE it! (maybe as much as i do)

What you need.

1/2 cup vegetable oil

4 tablespoons butter

6 whole cloves of garlics. Half smashed and half minced.

A bunch of rosemarries (Half whole and half roughly chopped)

A bunch of thai basils, roughly chopped)

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

3 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

*For this dish, i suggest you eyeballing the ingredients. Don't stick to the recipe too much. Cause obviously, we won't be using same kind or same amouth of bread. And you and I have different likeness on how much or less spices to put in. So i suggest you add in what you love to eat. This recipe is flexible and the options are endless. Play with it the way you want! But one thing you need to make sure is the oil mxture. Make sure you have enough to coat every bread pieces for crispy result! Add more or less butter and oil as much as you like, baby!

Melt together the butter and oil on a medium heat. Put in garlics and whole rosemarries to bring the flavors and aromas out to the oil mixture. Once the butter in melted and the garlics look cooked, remove from heat. Add in cardamom, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and quickly before the spices get burned.

When the oil has cool down a bit, pour it on top of the bread pieces in the bowl. Make sure every pieces get covered in oil cause you do want them to be crispy and flavorful! Careful not to oversoak them either. You don't want them to be too oily after baking.

Sprinkle chopped rosemarries and basils and mix well by hands! Toss them around. Then, spread the bread onto the sheet pan. Don't put them on top of each other. You want them to bake evenly so nothing gets burn.

Bake in the preheated oven at 350'F for about 20 minutes or until the bread is crisp and golden and golden and brown. Keep in an airtight container. It will last over a week but i suggest you eat them quick or share with your friends in a week! This croutons is here to be shared!
