I love the idea of having sweets after meal. My friend, Suzi, once told me that one day when she has a family of her own,she would love for the family to have dinner altogehter and after every dinner, she would prepare some kinds of desserts for her family to have. How great does that sound to be able to enjoy something sweet together with your family. I remember when she was telling me this, I pictured it in my head as each words went. It was really rare cause normally I am not much of a person who can really keep up with anything others say to me. To put it understadingly, I space out...a lot. So this means what Suzi was saying really sound sooo tempting to me. I wanted to have my own family right then. Coincidentally, that same week, we went over to Daniel and Katie's house to cook some thai food. Their house was already decorated with christmas tree and other christmas decorations, and all the festive feeling hit us right away once we went in their room. It was amazing. We cooked and talked and enjoyed the companies of each others. After that, Daniel put on Charlie Brown's Christmas movie for the girls, while Katie and Candice were preparing pies for us all.

Once we all got our own plate of cranberry pie, we sat together in front of the TV and just relaxed. The charlie brown's christmas episode was great, but i really hope charlie brown would stop worrying too much. He is such a good little boy. Hopefully, he could be more optimistic about whatever is going on in his life. I really hope so. It took me almost 15 minutes to finish my pie, and that surprise me, cause normally I would finish my pie in 5 minutes but I think the pie was so big and thick and along with a big dollop of vanilla ice-cream. It took me a while to eat it all up, but I loved it! I love eating big and bold desserts. And I love that we don't have to be shy to eat a big piece of sweet. I definitely enjoyed every single bites. For a while, I remember what Suzi had told me. It was exactly like this moment. One day, I'll sure do the same thing with my kids-Katy.
